How does a person with a medical condition where there is no cure for get the help she needs desperately?

I have a condition known as ARD (adhesive related disorder) which means adhesions (scar tissues) that adhere to your organs and can cause many medical complications such as bowel obstructions, can cause all of your internal organs to stick to each other.Since I have been diagonosed with this horrible disease, I have had a difficult time trying to work full time. I am still full time at my work but I am on FMLA intermediate, which means if the pain is too much for me to bear, than I go home and take my pain meds.There is no cure for this disease and many of them who have this end up committing sucicide because the pain can be overwhelming. I was just in the emergency room the other day and was told there was nothing they can do for me except to relieve my pain and send me home again. I have gone thru 13 surgeries and probably will have many more so that I can survive. There is a website you can go to for more info on this disease. It is www.adhesions.org.

1. I also have a chronic pain problem. The fix, surgery which was supposed to provide relief for several years, lasted about 6 months and resulted in a severe hearing loss. I am constantly juggling medications and anti-depressants. I assume that you are taking anti-depressants. I wish I could help more, but all I can say in hang in there.
2. I'm sorry for your illness... I don't know what to say, maybe you could get Medicaid because you do have a diagnosed, chronic illness that is constantly causing you pain. You might need to consider being put under a live-at-home nurse or to live permanentaly in an assisted living facility so that all your pain is being managed properly... I would continue taking pain medication and any sort of antidepressant that would help you; I would fall back on prayer and the love of others and the care of others to give me hope... of course I think you are very strong.

5. Please do not let anyone tell you there is no cure.go to a herbalist get your blood check and they can help you. I also have a disease,that they said was incurable guess what they were wrong.I am doing great,isn't God wonderful try what God put on this earth, You see he knew what we were going to get before we did. try his medicine it heals from the inside and out .Good luck,may god bless you
