Has someone or some company invented a dead zone device = no cell phone service?

Basically, a device to block cell phone signals.

1. there are some companies that make them and some plases in Asia that also do it too its a fairly common thing in places like movie theaters and areas where tey tell you to turn your phone OFF However these are illegal in the USA :)
2. Yes there are such devices. I know they are in use in concert halls, etc. in Japan.
