If i breathed in hydrogen with the oxygen in the air would i die of hypoxia and how long will it take to die?

  2. Hydreliox is a mixture of oxygen, helium, and hydrogen and is used for dives below 130 metres in commercial diving.
  3. As long as there is oxygen in the air you breathe, and as long as there are no actually *toxic* gasses in it also, you can breathe hydrogen/oxygen mixtures just fine. Just don't light a match - the mixture will combust, leaving water and a very charred you.
