why is there an occurence of cyanosis during hypoxia?
i mean why is there occurence of being a bit blue in color, when the blood is actually red, what happens that makes it blue?

- Hemoglobin, which is a molecule that attaches to RBC, gives the cells its red color when it is carrying oxygen. When it is not carrying oxygen it cannot produce the red pigment and the blood appears blue.
