Hypoxia and Medicine

Help? Please, sleeping problem?

I tend to have a bit of a sleeping problem. Its not insomnia. Its like the opposite of that, I can basically sleep at anytime of the day, sleep for how ever long, and still be tired/sleepy. Is this a medical condition? I have enough Iron and nutrients. But I always seem tired.

  1. If you get enough sleep yet are always tired, and otherwise healthy, you may want to get tested for sleep apnea. With sleep apnea, you stop breathing while you sleep, and wake up constantly, without even knowing it. If you have it, you can treat it with surgery, or manage it with a machine you wear as you sleep. Good luck, and I hope this helps! :)
  2. Have you had your potassium checked? Also if you are heavy then your system is always tired. Are you on depression medicine? I also can sleep anytime during the day or night, but I'm on depression pills. And I have always been like that.
  3. Could be thyroid? Also, it is a sleep disorder to sleep all the time and still be tired. Could be depression. Or maybe chronic fatigue syndrome. When I got CFIDS in 1987, I could sleep all day and all night and still be extremely tired. I don't think I was getting the deep level of sleep that is needed to feel restored. My CFIDS story is at http://www.fms-help.com/fatigue.htm My insomnia story is at http://www.fms-help.com/insomnia.htm Have you had some basic medical testing done to rule out mono or EBV?
