How can i get prescribed to medical marijuana?

I have a mild case of insomnia but have never been to the doctor for it. Im interested in getting prescribed medical marijuana for my condition. How do i do this?

1. go to the doctor and ask to get approve for medical marijuana.
2. Only a few states offer prescriptions for medical marijuana, none of them for insomnia.
3. Good luck with that. If you can't sleep you get sleeping pills like everyone else.

5. Well obviously... only a doctor can prescribe medication so that would be your first start. But I doubt the doctor would prescribe marijuana for lack of sleep. There are several drugs available specifically for inability to reach sleep.
6. noone answered you probably b/c you could be an under cover cop.! go to a dr.!!! duh!!!!
7. If you have insomnia, go to the doctor and seek help for that problem. There are better treatments for insomnia than what you asked for.
