I would like more details about this and would like to know just how serious it is. Does this mean a the person with provocable ischemia has heart disease?

- You may be referring to provocable cardiac ischemia. Ischemia is an insufficient blood supply. It can be transient (comes and goes) or continuous and chronic. Ischemia can also be spontaneous, meaning it comes out of nowhere. Provocable means that is is aggravated by other factors such as stress, diet or lifestyle. If you or someone you know has provocable ischemia, you or that individual can speak to a doctor about it to get more information that is relevant to the your (or that person's) case. The doctor would have the details.
