what is the appropriate oxygen saturation level for an 11 month old?
if at 85% then a breathing treatment is done and then it goes back up to 92-93% is that suffecent improvment. ( fyi w/ bronchial infection) Also this was done in a dr's office so I'm not here seeking medical advise persay just am curious:)

- Normally it will run about 98-100% on room air. It should be no lower than 95% if healthy. FYI adults can run 90% or above, at the hospital they dont start worrying unless than 90%.
- 85% is pretty low even with a bronchial infection. Your baby should be in the hospital where they can keep a constant eye on her O2 sats, and treat her. Please get your baby to the nearest ER. O2 sats for your baby under normal conditions shoul be in the high nineties to one hundred percent. Keith Leonard RN, BSN.
