Can bad circulation due to arthritus and carpal tunnel syndrom cause a low reading on an oxygen saturation lev?

I got a reading below 89% on 1.4% of the time on an oxygen saturation level test. I sleep on my side and usually lay on my arm and wake in the am with my arm feeling with pins and needles (both arms, because I change positions). I know I have osteo-arthritus in my fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome. Can this be the cause of the test (the thing on the finger) being low.

  1. I don't believe arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome have any bearing on an O2 saturation level. Yes the carpal tunnel syndrome causes numbness in the arm and hand but doesn't affect how your body takes in oxygen and uses it. The O2 sat level is based on the amount of oxygen your body takes in and is present in the blood. Usually a pulmonary and/or cardiac event or illness is the culprit.
