So there is a dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico?
So there is a dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico, where no fish or sea life can exist due to lack of oxygen. Would it be possible to drop thousands of oxygen canisters in these areas to add oxygen to the dead zone?

- I doubt it. The dead zone is 8500 square miles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_zone_%28ecology%29
- The Spinners would have you believe that the much beloved BP are spawning a new Jurassic Pond where these new super microbes will galosh all the mess. Now if BP could SELL oxygen canisters we will surely have super crustaceans to sag our super nets. Imagine BP canneries ( rather barrels) WOW ! MIDDLE-CUT Wish you were right !
- no, it is impossible.
