Help I have Asperger's ?
I have minor autism, they took a brain scan where I shown signs of moderate to severe hypoxia in the temporal lobe. That's part of area that controls language and learning. Which makes sense b/c whenever I have a conversation, it feels like my brain often runs out of oxygen or fuel mid-sentence so I start gasping for the right words to say- and often end up saying stupid stuff b/c of it. Is there any treatment for hypoxia (lack of blood-flow, and thus lack of oxygen) Please help My problem is really bad though, I sound like an 8 year old

- well it sounds like you need more oxygen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen_concentrator a good article on a device called an oxygen concentrator used for people who lack oxygen. ps-i would have never guessed you had any type of autism, you type better than i do! hahaa also, look into yoga breathing. i am very sick and i rely on "breathing in to your problems" to help control pain/anxiety
- it sounds like you need your brain to catch up to your conversation. could you say, "just a moment while i decide how to say what i mean" or "let me gather my thoughts" people who are used to talking to you or know you well should understand. don't feel obligated to saying anything if you are not ready. stop and take a deep, cleansing breath and you will relax more and communicate better. sadly, most people like listening to themselves talk rather than listening. be patient with yourself.
