Can I get MMJ (medical marijuana) for depression and anxiety in California?

Hello all. I'm an 18 year old living in California and I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for several years. I've been on a couple anti-depressants and in my opinion, marijuana helps more (in low doses). I also suffer from pretty frequent nausea and insomnia, which most anti-depressants make worse, but marijuana helps. I currently have two doctors that are eligible to prescribe meds, but both of them are very anti-pot (obviously brainwashed to think it's in the same category as crack and other harder drugs). Can anybody tell me if I can get a medical marijuana card for these conditions? If so, how to I go about finding a doctor that is sensitive to MMJ?

1. As far as I know the only way to get medical marijuana is if you have Cancer and even then they only do that in certain states.
2. YES you can. I live in Washington state and I have the same problem but here I can't get my card for that : (. They don't except it for that yet BUT they told me if i lived in California I could get it. Goggle for what area city you live in I could tell you were to go but i don't know what part you live in. You don't need to go through your doctor just request copies of you records for the past 3 years about these condition's and take them in the medical marijuana office with you
3. Yea dude, your lucky. Your living in the only state (other than alaska) where doctors will perscribe medical marijuana for just about anything. I live in washington, and I can't get medical because doctors are to strict. In Cali, all the doctors smoke weed, so they have no problem perscribing it. Just go in, and tell your doctor that your back throbs non-stop, all the time. The back pain is to much to handle with OTC's, and you don't want to get addicted to pain pills. You need to look the Doctor in the Eyes when your talking to him, and sound very sincere. He'll write you a perscription, and you will need to buy a $200.00 Medical card. Then you can go to dispenseries, and buy weed.
4. Yes you can. I am 100% sure. If you live in northern cali, go on norcalcannabisclubs.com, if you live in socal then socalcannabisclubs.com ... clikc on a link that says "doctors," look for one near you, call them to schedule an appointment. It will cost you about 100 to 150 dollars, bring that money, your valid california ID, and yeah i guarantee you will walk out of that office with a license.
