What medical reasons make you feel tiered? What can you do to raise energy levels?

I am always tiered, what medical conditions can make you feel chronically tiered for months on end mixed ironically with bad insomnia? What can i do to feel more functional? is there any medication or suppliments/alternative treatment that can help? Thanks very much for your help x

  1. you could be depressed, or have SAD ( seasonal affective disorder ) . i have juvenile arthritis and i am very lethargic, have depression stages, and sometimes cant sleep. good luck!

  5. You could be anemic or have a b12 deficiency. Both of these are fairly common and will cause fatigue. You can get a blood test to check for this, it's very easy. Stress and depression are also chief causes of fatique. In the mean time I would suggest drinking tea or coffee to get you through until you find out what's causing your fatigue.
