how could living at high altitudes affect breathing rates?

- not enough oxygen
- I live in a high altitude. It affects your breathing because there is less oxygen at higher altitudes. You may find yourself yawning a lot and tiring sooner at first. Most people adjust after a short time.
- I've always heard that the air at high altitudes is thinner. I mean the air is scarce. Not as plentiful.
- Rarified air, less Oxygen, more effort for breathing, heart gets worked up. The artries supplying blood to & fro get worn off & tired fast & result in Rhumatic breathing problems.
