What medical condition makes a person sensitive to heat?

I know this person who cannot go out in the heat during the summer, otherwise it will make him faint. He doesn't like to discuss this, but I would like to understand him a little better. Also, in his apartment during the summer he always has to have the air conditioner on or he will faint or have problems. What medical condition is this?

1. Possibly some type of asthma. We had a tenant who needed the A/C super cold all the time for his son with asthma.

I would suggest that He should consult a doctor if the symptoms are severe enough to cause poor performance and decrease in the quality of life.
