Can soybeans be grown in high altitudes? 3000 meters ?

I am interested in growing soybeans in the Andes mountains on fertile farm land at around 3000 Meters altitude. The clmate is fairly mild, but the temperature does dip below freezing sometimes. Is it possible to sustain growth of soybeans in this type of climate and altitude? Thank You!
