I live in a T-Mobile cell phone dead zone? What can I do?

I live in a cell phone dead zone. My phone usually has no bars and in some parts of the house only 2. My phone is about 2 years old, I like my phone company because my phone bill is cheap. If I upgrade to a smart phone like a G3, is it possible this issue would be resolved?

  1. Not really. But you could look into "T-Mobile @ Home" where they give you a wireless router that your phone will connect to when you're at home and send and receive calls over the internet, instead of a signal. It also automatically switches to air signal when you leave the house, so you can walk out the door while on a call. They might work with you on the bill, too, since you are in a dead zone and the alternative is that they lose you all together to another carrier. So call T-Mobile and ask about that.
  2. No if you have the same service with a new phone you will still be in a dead zone. You should contact your t-mobil and maybe they could help you with what you can do. Good luck
