Question about a Rash on the hands?

I am a female of 18 years, with a history of medical conditions including, graves disease, poly-cystic ovarian disorder, and a great amount of anaemia. For about 1 month I have had circular rashes, varying in color, appear on the backs of my hands (both left and right), and sparadically on the fingers (Only two have appeared on the palm). They are slightly raised and tend to resemble miniature cigarette burns, and do itch and burn. I tend to get them more on my thumbs then anything (And have developed two that are just not going away), but do have a peculiar amount of goosebump like things that spread across the entire hand. Strangely enough the rash started off with a very dry scaley itchy patch on the inner knee of my left leg that resembled a bumpy dry skin rash a friend of mine had on her arms and legs. Which may or may not have been related. I was worried about it because somebody told me that it might be syphilis. However I have (as far as I am aware) had no other 'syphilis' symptoms and have engaged in only one unprotected sexual act (When I was incredibly young >.>). Could this be another condition or possibly stress related OR should I book it too the doctors office first thing monday morning?

  1. Yes, you should have it examined by a dermatologist. Since you seem to have a multitude of other problems, it'd be impossible for me to guess what exactly you have, without seeing the problem. I wouldn't know if it's some how related to the other problems, such as a collagen vascular disease associated with Graves, etc. (Certainly, SCLE can look like what you've described.). Good luck.
