Hypoxia and Medicine

IS there away my medical condition can be wavered so i wont have any complications joining the USMC?!?

hemorrhagic telangiectasia is a rare inherited disorder characterized by malformations of various blood vessels usually resulting in excessive bleeding (hemorrhaging). Chronic nosebleeds are often the first apparent symptom associated with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. Malformation of various blood vessels may result in abnormalities affecting various organ systems of the body including the lungs, brain, and liver. HHT is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. I haven't had any problems with it in 6 years. Will this stop me from joining the USMC? Is there a way I can work around it? **also does anyone know any sites that list recruiting requirements specifically

  1. I recruited for 3 years for the Army, and usually medical conditions involving the blood tend to be a permanent DQ, but the only way to know for sure is to go talk to a recruiter and take the physical exam. You never know till you try.
  2. Sounds like a disqualification hun, im sorry.
  3. More important question: would you bet MY life and the lives of MY Marines that your medical condition will never effect you again?
  4. no way in hell will that EVER be waivered.
