What is the difference between hypoxia and hypoxemia?

  1. Hello Pre, Hypoxemia means that there is a less than normal oxygen content in the blood. Hypoxia means that there is insufficient oxygen in the body as a whole to sustain the vital organs. Hope this helps Love Mel.X
