Does thumbsucking cause brain hypoxia?
as well as holding the blanket upto ones nose and inhalling during 8 hours of sleep?

- i don't think so. if that is true why am i still alive today? I did that when I was young I mean the thumb sucking. And I also cover my entire face with a blanket when I sleep.
- No, unless your thumb was so long that you sucked it into your larynx and blocked it. This would require a thumb at least 16 cm long that was wide enough to completely block the airway. If the blanket was made of some material like Mylar and was applied in an air-tight fashion around the head, similar to putting a plastic bag over one's head, this would cause hypoxia in just a few minutes, but then breathing would not last 8 hours.
