  1. Mmm... not really. You should do your own research, your friend means well but s/he is not quite accurate. I'll give you a hint - the HIV virus doesn't exactly cause its own symptoms. It weakens the immune system to the point that the infected person starts contracting diseases that most healthy people wouldn't get. These infections are called "opportunistic infections," because they take advantage of the opportunity of a person with a weak immune system. Some of these opportunistic infections can be seen as symptoms of HIV... but they are not the things in your list. A good place to get started is www.cdc.gov , the centers for disease control. If you dig through that site you can find tons of information, from simple fact sheets to in-depth statistical reports.
  2. HIV has no symptoms it lowers the white blood cell count therefore you are more susceptible to other diseases that are not very common. Once you have AIDS your white blood cell count is barely existent even then the only thing that can be considered a symptom is getting sick often but that's only a by-product of the disease not a symptom.
  3. Uh NO. The symptoms to HIV are similar to the flu. People usually feel tired and achy, bruising, wt loss, no appetite and have no energy, but it lasts a lot longer. Often HIV is not diagnosed until its too late when the person develops HIV related complications like PCP pneumonia, kaposi sarcoma (purplish lesions on skin) or some other complications. People loose the ability to fight off infections so they tend to be sick often and are frequently hospitalized
  4. STD patients with the same wonderful life Still in love
