What's a difference Bewteen Dragonball Z Garlic Jr Saga and The Dead zone?

1. The Dead Zone is a movie where Garlic Jr. returns with a similar plan. IIRC, both take place between Namek's destruction and Trunks' arrival, so in some ways, Dead Zone feels like a movie remake of the very brief Garlic Jr. Saga.
