What does hypoxia mean?

1. I think it means not enough oxygen in the body.
2. Basically, lack of oxygen, which can cause irreversible brain damage, death.
3. It means little air. Hypo meaning under or below, ox meaning oxygen. If a person has hypoxia, it can lead to brain injuries or other things.
4. To become hypoxic means that blood is not being delivered to a part of the body or tissue, no oxygen being delieverd usually results in a blueish tint aswell :) hope this helped.
