Hypoxia and Medicine

Please help, partial paralysis?

About a week ago, my pinky toe (I know, lame), was in a great deal of pain. I have had frostbite before (not in my toes, but my fingers) and it almost felt as though it was at the peak of cold-induced pain before the numbness of frostbite took over. This was unexpected as I was inside a heated house under blankets, wearing footwear. I went to sleep and the next morning I couldn't move the three smallest toes on my left foot, questionable pinky toe included. It has been a week now, and although I can still sort of feel my toes, I am unable to move them. My big toe moves slightly, but doesn't have as much of a range of motion as that of my right foot. Does anyone know what this could be, or if it could be some larger medical condition. I have been told that it could be diabetes, but that seems far fetched as I am healthy, active and don't have any other diabetes-like symptoms. Thanks!

  1. you need real medical advice ASAP!!!!
  2. I would suggest going to the doctor to get it checked out. It could be nothing, it could be something. Is there severe pain when touched? If so, it could be gout - its more likely to happen in the big toe, but not unheard of in other toes. There is also the possibility of a pinched nerve somewhere, so a problem with your spinal cord. Go see a doctor, they can run tests and tell you (hopefully) what's wrong. Hopefully they can narrow it down to either a muscle problem, nerve problem, arthritis, etc.
