Hypoxia and Medicine

Hey, hope you guys can help me.?

Please help me out if you can. :) I was always a 17 year-old-girl, was always healthy with no serious medical problems. I'm 5'2 or '4 (I forgot), 116 pounds. I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. I lived a normal life (more or less, lol), but I suffer still from depression & stuff... :( But for whatever reason, I started getting REALLY REALLY sick near the end of August 2008, & I've been "sick" ever since then. And it's January now!! I have these horrible symptoms that won't seem to go away & no one can tell me why. :( - Constant pounding, hard, heavy heartbeat - Swollen, sore, yucky feeling throat - Weird breathing (I have an odd awareness of my own breath ALOT) - Weird fluttery, uncomfortable "air" feelings in chest - Stomach pains & feeling like my stomach has acid in it - On & off I was so sick & scared for months until the docs finally diagnosed me with an H. pylori infection. So I went on a round of 3 antibiotics that I had to take 3 times a day for a month. And the side-effects were not pleasant, lol!! I'm ALOT better than I used to be, but I still have these weird symptoms & it's hard for me to enjoy life now because they make me feel so uncomfortable. I cry everyday because of this. The docs say it's anxiety, and maybe it is. But that doesn't change what I'm feeling. I've had many tests done, including: - Several blood & urine tests - 3 Ultrasounds of my heart - 24 Holtor monitor - Stress test - Physicals - Endoscopy I'm going with my Dad over to the clinic tomorrow to talk with a doctor. I'm going to get a PAP Smear/pelvic exam I think & I got to find out my biopsy results (which I'm sure is fine because I think they would've called us if they found something serious). The cardiologist said I could live to 100 with the condition that my heart is in. He said I just need to train my heart & work it out a bit more. All the doctors say I'm a perfectly healthy normal girl. I'm attractive, healthy, & fit. But my heart pounds even when I just go up/down a flight of stairs, lol!! I'm super glad they haven't found anything for me to worry about, but I STILL have these symptoms & they're just awful. I wish they would just go away. I want my normal life back. Any help and/or advice on what I should do? Thanks for taking to the time to read this... oh, yeah... HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! :) I've also been getting more sick lately...cold & flu symptoms. Probably from the cold. And I take Zoloft for depression...just thought I'd mention it, hehee. NO, I'm not crazy, lol. :) Just kinda uptight & worried... SHIT!!!! I put this question in the wrong category...lol. My bad, guys. xD

  1. I think you just need to trust the doctors. If they dont think there is anything seriously wrong, then I would trust them. Give the medicine more time, and just try to relax and not worry about things too much. good luck!
  2. I highly doubt any of the answers you'll receive will be from doctors. Have you looked up webmd.com? that can be a helpful sight. I would really suggest you go to the doctor again and tell him/her all of this. Perhaps go to a couple of different doctors and get a second and third opinion. Good luck!
  3. have you gotten your tonsils out yet? those can hurt you. i got mine out last year.
  4. Take some time out, do things you enjoy, take up a new hobby, spend some time with family and friends. Maybe do some volunteer/charity work. Keeping busy can help keep depression at bay. Don't obsess so much about it. You're getting the care you need so try and relax now.
  5. Hey I feel sorry for you and that but you would get more answers if you put it in the right section. You will get some here but you will get more in the proper catagory. :)
  6. might they be side effects of the Zoloft you are taking for depression, I also think that maybe you think that your sick and have all these symptoms, therefor you do, well you don't really, but it feels like it. If this is true, than I say you should try excercising and eventually you will believe your better, andyoull feel better. hope this helps.
