  1. This suggests a reduction in blood flow/oxygen to the lower (infero) outer (lateral) side of the heart. That area is mostly the critically important Left Ventricle: the primary systemic pump of the heart. In the face of chest pain, shortness of breath and/or dizziness, this person may be having Acute Coronary Syndrome. I assume they are already getting medical care (as someone read their EKG). Depending on their age and medical history, they should be (at least) observed on a telemetry unit with cardiac enzyme tests and a stress test. At most, they may need a cardiac catheterization and angioplasty if a coronary artery is blocked. Aspirin, nitroglycerine and beta-blocking heart medicines are needed immediately. Hope this helps.
