How do people prevent frostbite at high altitudes or at low temperature or both?

Frostbites are very common in low temperature areas. what are the ways to prevent them?

2. By being prepared and not overestimating their limits. You have to have the proper gear with excellent insulation and make sure that you can get in out of the cold in twenty minutes if you have to. Don't push it if your body starts telling you to quit.
