medical condition? My daughter has a condition that she believes is caused by a build up of yeast in her system. The condition causes a body odor and I need to point out that her personal hygene is excellent. Other people, she says, can smell it but I can't and neither can her children. Does anyone know of such a thing? And is there any help for this? She's talked to dentists, an allergy doctor and medical doctor, with no results. Help!!
Medical Condition? At the mall I saw a man with an unusually small head and a very high voice. I tried looking up the medical condition for this but couldn't find any. What medical condition makes a person sensitive to heat? I know this person who cannot go out in the heat during the summer, otherwise it will make him faint. What is name of medical condition causing hip and knee pain? A physiotherapist has diagnosed a condition that I have, but has not told me a name for the condition. Does anyone know? The curve in my lower spine is more pronounced than normal, this causes my pelvis to be more tilted than normal, and that causes my thigh muscles to be shorter than they should be. The shortening of my thigh muscles pulls my hip and knee joints out of alignment, causing pain in my hip and knee joints. There is no cure for this condition apart from physiotherapy exercises and pain management, but there has got to be a proper medical term for it with more details on the web.

Is it illegal to invent a medical condition without any medical evidence? Just as the question says. Now, this invented medical condition wouldnt be used to obtain any kind of drugs, chemicals, or services. What i'm asking is this: Is it legally permissible to pass a fictitious medical condition in an informal, social situation? Wicked. And no, its not lying about it to your friends for sympathy or whatever. Its just for shits and giggles. New medical term? SSD Sporadic Situational Disamusement. Feel free to use it on your friends Cheers!
Is there a medical condition that can affect someones maturity level? Is it possible that a 35 year old college educated woman with at least average intelligence can have the maturity level of a 7 year old? I am concerned because my niece does and says things that are not adult like in any way. She is not just spoiled but I suspect a medical condition because she usually acts extremely childish and it seems part of her personality. Can an otherwise normal adult have a mental defect that will not allow her to mature mentally?
What kind of medical condition in a dog is this? I have a dog, less than a year old and he seems to be losing patches of his fur. He's part lab, chow, and husky. He has sctrached himself raw in places. At first, we thought it was flees or dry skin. He washed him, put on flee powder, flee collar, moisterizing shampoo but he continues to scratch himself raw and is still losing his fur in places. Is this some kind of medical condition and what can we do for him?
What was this medical condition I remember from House MD? I'm trying to research this medical condition, and I seem to remember it fuzzily because it was talked about on House MD. It's kind of like the opposite of phantom limb syndrome, where the patient didn't feel like his limb (an arm?) belonged to him. I'm not sure if there was a loss of sensation or if he could move it, the condition was mainly that he had felt for a long time that the limb was not a part of him and wanted it removed.
Is there a medical condition that warrants someone to chew ice? I have read that certain people have cravings for ice because of low iron and things like that but is there an actual medical condition that is help/treatment to chew ice? I have someone at work that chews ice all day long and it is so distracting and the reason she is giving is that she has this medical condition that requires her to chew ice. I find it hard to believe chewing ice will help anything. if it does wouldn't drinking water do the same thing?
Punishable by ucmj to exercise a soldier knowing they have a medical condition? I know a soldier who has a medical condition and is on a profile right now. He profile ends the 12th of december and he has drill the following weekend. There are no doctors that will be staffed to write him a profile in time. Everyone in his unit knows of his medical condition, is it unlawful by UCMJ to make a soldier exercise knowing he has a medical condition, even if his profile has expired? What is the technical name for this medical condition? There is a medical condition I recently became aware of involving females. Due to genetics, one of the x chromosomes is damaged. This not only prevents child bearing but also stunts growth slightly. Is anyone aware of the name of this condition? It could possibly be a syndrome or disease, i am not sure. I just want to know the name so I can find out more about it. I would like to understand it more because it affects someone very important in my life. Thanks.
Is there a manageable medical condition that requires daily self-given injections or someone will die without? I'm writing a story and I need to know if any medical condition exists where someone could die if their injections are not administered at a set interval. I was thinking Diabetes and Insulin? But I don't know if that could result in death if someone was trapped and couldn't inject themselves? Anyone have a suggestion of a condition that exists or maybe a movie where this scenario was done successfully (besides "Hand That Rocks The Cradle" where Asthma was used). Many thanks in advance for your help!

How does a person with a medical condition where there is no cure for get the help she needs desperately? I have a condition known as ARD (adhesive related disorder) which means adhesions (scar tissues) that adhere to your organs and can cause many medical complications such as bowel obstructions, can cause all of your internal organs to stick to each other.Since I have been diagonosed with this horrible disease, I have had a difficult time trying to work full time. I am still full time at my work but I am on FMLA intermediate, which means if the pain is too much for me to bear, than I go home and take my pain meds. There is no cure for this disease and many of them who have this end up committing sucicide because the pain can be overwhelming. I was just in the emergency room the other day and was told there was nothing they can do for me except to relieve my pain and send me home again. I have gone thru 13 surgeries and probably will have many more so that I can survive. There is a website you can go to for more info on this disease. It is www.adhesions.org.

Man, i don't even feel it! i had it when i was 7 and the last time i got it looked at by the doc was in 2002 ! im not on medication. Is it legit for insurance companies not to cover you if you have a medical condition? I am so confused! I have several medical conditions; which means I NEED Health Insurance. I am unemployed and looking for work, so am trying to get temporary HI. The Insurance person told me I have to wait so they can check me because if you have any underlying condition, or need to take medications, you might not be covered. What am I paying for then? If I am healthy; why do I need HI. Should this really be legit? Can't the Government, who is supposed to protect us, do anything about it? This just does not make any sense at all; as do many other things nowadays. Does anyone agree with me that the world is backwords and really going completely insane.
Husband Always falls asleep while driving is this a medical condition? Yesterday my husband got into a wreck and totaled his truck. This the the 3rd or 4th time since OCtober he has wrecked.. Is there a medical condition related with anger? My mom totally freaks out almost every other day for short arguments, but more recently, shes been having 1 and even two hour long arguments with not only me, but my dad and sister too. She talks to us all the time about how to control OUR anger, but I don't think she really gets it for herself. Is there an actual medical condition related with anger and arguments? What would be causing it? Is it lack of sleep?

Can medical condition stop you from joining the National Guard? I try to get myself healthy I even joined a school wrestling team for my physical benefit and I think I will also join that Football camp not for joining footbal just the physical and mental training. I get a severe case of itching while swimming pool. Is there a medical condition for this? Recently I've been swimming in swimming pools and starting feeling extraordinarily itchy several minutes after i start swimming. It's very bothersome to the point that I have to come out of the pool and when I come out, I start seeing isolated bumps forming on my skin (not really rashes or clusters of little bumps, mainly one or two big bumps like a mosquito bite). Soon after I leave the pool however, the itching stops and the next day I feel perfect. I'm wondering if this is a medical condition (I don't think it's swimmer's itch by the way because they last longer) or is it just the pool?

is family member being poisoned or have medical condition? Someone in my family has been having lots of problems and has been going to the doctor for months, and cant seem to find anything wrong. His symptoms are: high white blood cell count, forgetfullness, dizziness, weak, kidney problems, really skinny, blood in urine, no energy, and confused? Does he have a medical condition that the doctors arent seeing or is he possibly being poisioned by something.
What exactly counts as a medical 'condition'? I recently got private health care for my boyfriend through my work, however it does not include conditions you should have previously been aware of or sough medical advice for. He has had 2 collapsed lungs in the past 2 years (both lungs). Does this count as a 'condition' so won't be covered?
What is the medical condition known as "Pegad"? I'm watching a show Discovery Health about embarrassing diseases and some woman has a medical condition called Pegad. But they do not explain what Pegad is. All I know is that it has something to do with the groin area.
Bright red eyes in a photo, can it indicate a medical condition? I took photos of two people together, one of them had disturbingly red eyes, the other person's eyes were normal colour. I am sure I read somewhere of someone discovering a medical condition when this happened. mt, I think you might have hit on it there, the red eye reduction is turned on, it was just that I remember recently a mother noticed her daughter had one red eye, and this was a medical problem. I will try again when the substances have worn off!!
What medical condition is this? And is it life threatening? There are a few kids at school where they have this medical condition, where they just faint all of the sudden. It happened today a girl was just sitting, told the girl next to her she felt really sick and collapsed. The teacher acted very serious. It took her about 30 secconds to come back and when she did she sat up all of the sudden and said "Oh My God". there are other kids with this condition and I was just wondering if it was serious and what it was called.
Are there people out there whom buy medical condition reports? I was just wondering was there some place that I could get a medical condition report. Sometimes people need more than a brochure that is spitting the same thing at them that the doctor just told them. I need more details than that. Is there anyone doing this as a business or has anyone ever bought a report like this? Need more information.
Anyone know of a good website to blog about updates on my medical condition? I am having brain surgery in a month and I am looking for a website to blog on. Addendum to Breathalyzer requested and was forced a blood test due to my medical condition.? 1. CHP officer is a rookie only on the force 2.5 yrs. 2. I requested a breathalyzer; reference: California Vehicle code 23612. = I have a choice. 3. I was taken to hospital due to my medical condition which was bogus. Also I was waiting to take my breath test for 1 hour prior to transportation to the hospital. 4. Police are not doctors and can't determine if a person needs medical treatment if they are coherent and speaking complete sentences. 5. I was never given a chance to prove to the officers that I could perform the Breathalyzer normally. If they gave me a chance to take the Breathalyzer as it is in police protocol and I failed by fudging or by not being able to take the test, Then they should and could take me to the hospital and take my blood under my consent or without it. 6.I was never given that chance which deems that I was medically able to take the Breathalyzer. 7. This means that the blood draw which I didn't refuse would be an "illegal blood draw". They deemed me incapable of taking a breathalyzer based on a CHP's diagnosis of chronic asthma on myself....= Bullshit It took 12 minutes from my time of arrest to arrive at the hospital which deemed me coherent, normal, speaking complete sentences and very distinctly, and all my vital were normal. I had no slurred speech as they could have checked the box, which contradicts the police, also alcohol smell protruding from me was obsolete. My BAC was a .19 this is bullshit also Oh by the way there are so many mistakes in the police report which the officer wrote. example: I was arrested at 10:45pm, and my blood was drawn at 0355, or 3:55am. Hmmmmmm thats over three hours isn't it? Also if the report is wrong which there is alot, then how can this police officer be qualified to pace me, especiially when she stated she obtained a pace of my vehicle while accelerating? Also from the time I got on the freeway till I got off. There is an approximate 1 mile distance. Now can you law enforcement folks tell me how long it takes to go one mile when the officer was 1/3 mile behind me? I'll tell you.....I would have passed the exit I got off at if I was going 95. Try to beat Math and calculus, good luck! I did not have an asthma attack, as it's stated in my doctor report. The investigation at the Hospital was this......They forced a breath test on my (I was handcuffed) for preventative care for my future transportation to the jail!!!!!!! Matt----idiot, I wasn't drunkk I weigh 180 with fast metabolism with only 2 beers drank in the course of 5 hours. The only person who is gonna get slammed is me doing my gf tonight and maybe yours. Please folks this is America and this is California. There are laws for citizens like me and procedures police must follow to make a lawful arrest. I'm looking for serious opinions, not idiots who say I was drunk driving and thats that. I mean if your a police officer and state this, then you have no intelligence about procedure or law for that matter. I'm asking questions on procedure. Would any of you police do a DUI investigation like this? I hope not because you will get reprimanded by your superior as this officer is by me filing a formal complaint. Oh yes, 2.5 yr CHP officer is on a 3 year probation period, and is not an expert at everything. If she was then I'm an expert at business since I have a BA which is 4 years!!!!

Rare medical condition in which a person needs certain types of carbs? I was wondering if this condition exists I saw on the tv show "House". The patient on the show had lost 100lbs going on a carb free diet, but then developed unexplained health problems such as pulmonary/cardiac issues. Dr. House discovers the lady has a rare condition which caused her symptoms because she went off carbs (I believe certain types of carbs if I remember right). I was just wondering if this medical condition exists and if it does, what the name of it is? Thanks
Is there a medical condition that causes a normal person not to be able to sprint very fast? I know a 13-year-old boy who is a great baseball player. He can hit the ball anywhere on the field he wants, but cannot sprint at all. When he runs around the bases, he looks like he is jogging at the same speed. He says he is running as fast as he can, but it looks like he should be able to run much faster. Is there a medical condition that could cause him to not be able to run any faster?

If someone is fired due to a medical condition, will work-based insurance still apply? ...if someone fired due to a clear medical condition and is admitted to the hospital the next day? This isn't about me, but I am still interested to know. It's a serious medical condition, one that an employer could not reasonably accomodate at all. The person became disabled on one day, fired later the same day, and admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

How do you get health insurance if you have a pre existing medical condition? I have a pre existing mental illness that is controlled very well with medication, and I am a productve, very educated, young member of society and otherwise healthy person, and NO insurance will cover me. What do I do? Should I just lie and hope that they don't find out (or research into my medical file)? It has been over a year since my diagnosis and treatment. Why do they still refuse me and is there anything I can do to change that? How long will it be until that will be "erased" from my permanent record?
Is not having a neck an actual medical condition? Not trying to make fun of people, I'm honestly just curious. Does it have to do with the spine?

What is a medical condition that requires a strict eating schedule? Hey guys, I just started school today (high school), and I have seven classes and a lunch period starting at 8AM. However, my lunch period happens to be my eighth period, which starts at 1:50 PM. I want to get a schedule change, to move my lunch period up one period to 7th (starts at 1PM)- but NO EARLIER. This is because well... a girl I'm crazy about has lunch that period. Haha I know it sounds very stupid, but I was wondering if anybody could give me a valid medical excuse to move my lunch period to earlier that day. Reason being, in order to change my schedule, I need to have a valid medical reason. Oh, and saying "I just get very hungry" does not cut it with my counselor, unfortunately. Thanks everyone!
Medical Condition? My boyfriend is hot all the time. Everyone else in the room will be sitting under a blanket or at least at a comfortable temperature and he is sweating. He's not overweight, eats pretty healthy, and is very active. He wakes up every night tossing and turning because he is so hot. (The room is kept around 70 degrees.) Does anyone know if it could be a medical problem causing this? I'm thinking he should go see his doctor.

Brain tumor or other medical condition that causes violence? Have you ever heard of any kind brain tumor or other general medical problem that could likely make a person violent? Perhaps only spurts of anger or rage? If so, what is it called formally? Exclude anything cause by drugs or mental illness per se. And before any of you wise-guys say PMS (or related) that's excluded too. This is purely academic by the way. I don't know anybody who is violent, I just have been wondering.
Would you participate in a research study, if you had a rare medical condition? I have a rare condition. I want to know more about it. There at this time is not a known cause, although there are treatment. They just want to draw lab samples and do test. They will compensate me like $200 is it worth it. I probably can get the same results from my dr, except I will have to pay and would not be compensated.
Is there a medical condition that can explain dull thinking in the late afternoon or evening? It's weird. I can be a night owl, up until 4am comfortably reading, writing, or on the computer. But if I'm at work, closing the shop, I get so stupid about 5 or 6pm. I'm trying to decide if it is simply stress related (it is kind of crazy in that place by then) or if... well I don't know, maybe my sugar drops later in the day or something... Anyone else have that problem, or know of a medical condition that causes it, or maybe know of an herbal remedy for late afternoon stupidity?

Medical Condition-Family Medical Leave Act? I have recently in the last year found out that I contracted HIV from my boyfriend that was unknown to me a needle drug user. I have been really devastated and stressed since this situation but I have been dealing with it with the help of family and friends. My question is I have been ill and sick lately not too much but enough to be out of work at least once a week. I was told to fill out a Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) so that I will not get in trouble for my job for leaving so much. However on the application it is asked about medical condition. I am very leary about exposing health condition to the company even though this is to be private information. My question is am I obligated to let them know my exact medical condition to my company and I am not against letting them knowing that this is recurring medical condition. But I was told by them that I have to give my exact medical condition I am scared is this true and is there away to do the FMLA and get around it? Okay I went to the Department of Labor website and saw that is says: Q: Do I have to give my employer my medical records for leave due to a serious health condition? No. You do not have to provide medical records. The employer may, however, request that, for any leave taken due to a serious health condition, you provide a medical certification confirming that a serious health condition exists. So does this mean that my doctor can say that I have a serious medical condition but not disclose what exactly it is? Thanks to everybody for all your help in this sensitive matter I appreciate this.

Serious medical condition and still deploying to iraq? My husband has a serious medical condition ( i rather not say) and his unit is still deploying him (just recently my husb learned he was having some medical problems so he took some test and came back positive, he was given meds but has not been good remembering to take his medicine that was about 2 weeks ago, anyways this week his unit is deploying and he has been having issues with this situation, and just today his dr called and said he was in perfect condition to go to iraq) to me this is alittle odd with his condition to heal in just 2 weeks and his dr had to talk with the chain of command who didnt care about my husbands sitation and wanted him to go anyways.MY question is,if something is wrong with my husband and the dr is lieing about it because thats what his chain of command wanted even though they know about his condition then what should my husband an I do? the dr talked with his commander and before he talked to the commander he told my husb he was nondeployable and after ~ after the dr talked to the commander he calls my husband and says hes good to go to iraq, now to me that sounds alittle odd...so im just wondering what we should do...we have little time seeing hes about to leave this coming thursday morning and i think this situation is very serious. I thought maybe even after he gave him a nondeployable status and profile that would mean something? and then to change it? dont you think? Well guess it dont matter much anyways they will send him on his 3rd deployment no matter what... i've learned the army dont care much for the families or its soldiers, i just thought there might be something we could do before he leaves this thursday...thanks alot though for your negative comments! ...oh by the way to the retired chief petty officer...lets see hes been working nonstop always at work hardly home and maybe just maybe he forgets to take his meds because his unit is messed up keeps him working soo late? did you ever think of that? guess not... * I wasnt talking about the dr's chain of command...i was talking about my husbands chain of command...the dr is a civilian dr that works with the military *
Could Homosexuality Be A Medical Condition? Plz read b4 yelling.? A recent study found that in the homosexual man the hypothalomus is small and puffy like in a heterosexual woman. And in a lesbian the hypothalomus is large and hard like in a heterosexual man. So my question is if this study is accurate wouldnt homosexuality be a medical condition? For example if a woman is born paraplegic (unable to move) we would say that she suffers from a medical condition even if her mind is sharp. If someone is born with a 30% hearing loss (such as I) we would say that is a medical condition even though it holds no bars against the ability to learn, work, etc. So if homosexuals use a medical or anatomical excuse to say that homosexulity is not a disease isnt that in fact saying that they suffer from a medical condition? http://www.beliefnet.com/story/136/story_13638_1.html this is a link to one of many articals on this subject

I have a medical condition If I applied for a car licence in the USA what would happen? I am currently in Australia but I intend on going to the USA later in life. my medical condition is cerebral palsy it affects my left arm and as a result in order for me to drive a car I must have a spinner knob. I know that I am certaintly capible however of driving without one. however in order to turn I have to use one arm to do so. something which is illegal in Australia. from what Im aware its not illegal in the USA but surprisingly the spinner knob is, unless for a medical condition which I have. in the US would I have to have a spinner knob just because of the disabilty or would they be willing to consider my abilty to drive without it.

Serious Medical Condition !!? Prime Minister was visiting one of finest hospitals and during his tour of the wards, he passed a room where one of the male patients was masturbating. "Oh God," said the PM, "that`s disgraceful, what is the meaning of this?" The doctor leading the tour explains, "I am sorry sir, but this man has a very serious condition where his testicles fill up rapidly with semen. If he doesn`t do what he is doing at least 5 times per day, he could swell up and he might die" "Oh, I am sorry," said the PM, "I was unaware that such a medical condition existed." On the same floor they soon passed another room where a young, blonde nurse was performing oral sex on another patient. "Oh my God," said the PM, "What`s happening here?" The doctor replied, "Same problem, better health plan."

Medical Condition? High Red Cell Count/ Small Cells? Condition: - 30 year old, had tonsils removed, and severe case of mono-like infection several months ago. - Not overweight, eat healthy, did exercise frequently before illness. - For six months, been really weak (not able to do normal activities/work, etc), persistent low grade fever (~100), and headaches. - latest blood tests show high red cell count/ small cells. - low white cell count as well - latest blood negative for Mono and all other infections tested. - Negative for STDs, etc. - No cancer or blood disease runs in family. I have been seeing a variety of Family doctors/Specialists over 6 months and still no idea what could be wrong with me. I am going to a new hemogloban (sp?) specialist next week and would like to prepare to ask questions. Anyone working in the medical profession that could give me some good questions to ask or some sites that may give me more detail on what this could be? I've done a lot of research on www.mayoclinic.com already. Thank you.
Medical condition or just genetics? I am a 30 year year old guy with extremely youthful looks. No beard, short stature, and high voice. My parents look kinda young but this is extreme in my opinion. Is there a medical condition that fits this, or is it just genetics?
Unwanted pregnancy with severe medical condition? I'm 28. I'm 4 months pregnant. I have a severe medical condition that keeps me bedridden some days, I also have mental conditions. I didn't want a baby but saw it on the ultrasound and don't want to give it up. I was wondering if anyone here has medical conditions but are still a parent and what they go through. I can't bear the idea of giving my child up
Is there a medical condition that systematically mimics other medical complaints? Had loads of medical problems with physical symptoms all requiring me to see hospital specialists i.e. skin splitting on hands and feet (2 episodes both times lasting about 3 years) had allergy tests and only the sticking plaster with the patches on caused a reaction! A whole range of gynae probs (no periods, heavy periods, continuous bleeding, secondary infertility, miscarriage, an ovarian cyst showing on a scan but it had disappeared by the time treatment was arranged) , abnormal smear tests, hair thinning, underactive thyroid blood test was positive but then follow up test normal, sciatica which has left the back and side of left calf and 3 toes on left foot numb, also have 2 fingers on left hand numb, rheumatic pains in limbs to name a few. As soon as one complaint clears up, usually without invasive treatment, something else starts. This has been going on for almost 30 years (i'm 41) Does anyone know if these symptoms could be caused by a single medical condition?
What medical condition makes you drained with no energy? I don't have insurance so before I head to the doctors I would like to have some kind of idea what might be wrong with me. I have no energy what so ever. I feel drained 24/7. I eat alot but Im always tired. I eat a wide range of foods and I get daily excersise (short walks with my son). Everytime I stand up I feel really dizzy. I never have energy for anything. I get enought sleep (8-10 hrs a night). This is taking over my life and taking a toll on me and my fiance. What can I do and do you think I have some kind of medical condition? Family say Im just lazy but I know its not the case. lol Oh and I forgot. Im 5'4 115 lbs. Im defintly not over weight. Im actually trying to gain weight but its so hard.
What medical condition is this? Ok, so in my study hall class, we were talking about wierd health occurences. Our teacher told us about how she used to work at a hospital, and a boy came in (around 6) with his parents, and while he was anatimically a boy, his insides was everything a woman would have (fallopian tube, uterus, etc etc etc) and how if they hadn't performed surgery, during puberty, he would have grown breasts, and many other woman like features. What is this medical condition called?
a medical condition?? crying excessivly, suicidal thaughts, self harm, sleeping not enough or too much, eating when bored, pesamistic views on life, anti social behavior, underage drinking, loss of interest in everything and an emotional feeling of being "numb" are these all or any of the symptoms of any medical condition like depression??
Is there any medical condition linking to this? depression and feeling zoned out and confused...? I smoked weed over a year ago, freaked out, and thats when all my confusion and distorted thoughts started messing with me, it hasn't gone away ever sense. I have never used physechedelics or recreational drugs except for that one time i smoked pot. It scared the hell out of me and i even went to the emergency room for it cause I thought i was gonna die. I felt as if I was floating and dreaming. And every now and then i get the same weird feeling but its not as bad so it doesn't bother me as much. I just don't know whats wrong with me. I did quit smoking 2 months and 5 days ago and i wonder if im still recovering from withdrawal. But the whole fact is, my head ain't right, my life ain't right, and I have no confidence in myself except for when im on this stupid computer or when im with another family member. Is there any medical condition linking to this?
Is there a medical condition that causes bad handwriting? I don't know what to do about my handwriting. I have tried all my life to have neat handwriting but it always looks like a 10 year old. I don't think I'm stupid but it makes me look like an idiot. The letters are readable but when I have to take exams for my law course, I'm not sure if they will see my writing and assume I'm an idiot from the way it looks so give me low marks? Is there some kind of medical condition that causes people to have handwriting that makes them look stupid? All my friends at my school had nice handwriting and I used to try all the time to practise but nothing worked and I don't know if there's a reason for it? I need to know. Maybe I'm demented but don't realise or something? It has been alright so far as all my law assignments have been typed, but the last one has to be hand written. Would my doctor think I'm wasting his time if I go because my handwriting is bad?

would pregnancy be considered a medical condition? ..because i am pregnant with my 1st..and unfortunately...single too (the father of the kid doesn't offer help in any way like i thought he would) i have lots and lots of bills..rent, electricity, water, cell. phone, internet/cable, car insurance, gas, food...to pay for.. i do admit i LOVE to work..as many as 50-60 hours a week! but now that i am 31 weeks pregnant..its hard for me to work that many hours, and many employers won't give me over 30 hours : / and i am DYING to work!!! wel.my problem now is, i am behind on my electricity bill..and probably my rent- because of the lack of hours i am workin... i DO have medical assistance that will help me out with the hospital and check up cost...but what about electricity and rent? i am willing to work really hard to get where i want to be--but no1 is willing to give me the hours that i want : / on the bill though..it says if there is a "medical condition" in the household..then they won't shut off the power. would pregnancy be considered a "medical condition"..?? and do u know of any assistance that will help with electric?? and or rent cost? i am not lazy or anything..its just hard to find a FULL time job... i heard there is housing assistance..(section 8) in other words..but i like where i'm at now...
Is this a medical condition? Whenever anyone asks me how things are going for me, my whole emotional "system" shuts down. No matter how much emotional pain I may feel at all other times of the day, if someone asks me how I'm feeling, I suddenly can't feel the pain or remember what's causing it. Sometimes I can feel the crying inside, but it's like an 80 foot thick wall goes up, and the crying won't come to the outside. I was reading tonight about a real medical condition that causes difficulties in expressing yourself verbally to other people. Is there a condition in which you can't express your emotions?
Most painful medical condition? What is the most painful medical condition or accident that you have been through, such as kidney/gall stones, broken limbs, being shot, childbirth and others? I'm just curious to find out what actually causes the most pain for a person.
